About Tignes
Tignes - Val Claret is a high altitude, snow-sure resort enjoying year round skiing on the Grand Motte Glacier. Together with Val d’Isere, Tignes makes up the Espace Killy, one of the world’s greatest ski areas. For many advanced and intermediate skiers, the huge variety of slopes here, makes this a resort without parallel. With 300k of pisted skiing and extensive off-piste opportunities, the Espace Killy is an awesome ski area. The lifts on the nursery slopes are free and there is a free shuttle bus service operating continuously throughout the day, linking all parts of the resort. Tignes offers spectacular scenery, an endless choice of runs for everyone- beginner to expert and an ultra-efficient lift and bus system. The Daily Telegraph dated Saturday 6th October 2007 listed Tignes Val Claret as a resort that it would recommend for skiing from November to May.
